EHRRE officially opened its’ doors for business on April 2, 2008. It’s ok to call us crazy. We’ve heard it; more than once. Established real estate firms already exist - many good companies with many good associates. Why one more? Why now?

A little background.  Realtors® and Brokers were ‘The Keepers of the Information.’ We knew which houses were offered for sale, the property details, asking price, neighborhood sold prices and other relevant data. Consumers had to call us to get it. The internet has and is changing the way we do business. Today, anyone who can 'google,' can get the information. Any homeowner can create a web page or place an ad offering their property for sale.

If the resources to buy and sell homes are accessible for all now, who needs an agent? Not everyone. There’ll always be DIY’ers (Do It Yourself) who’ll undertake the work, just like other projects, i.e., an oil change, leaky faucets, tax returns, financial planning, etc. There’ll always be others who want or need help. You have choices.

Real estate companies all look the same. What’s different about Emory Hill Residential? No doubt, technology has helped level the playing field. It is getting harder to tell us apart. These days it seems everyone is a "#1 agent for life" who will sell your house "faster and for top dollar."

Frankly, the basic services we provide home buyers and sellers are similar to other companies.  And the "sold" goal is the same; we're a for-profit business.  But if we didn’t think we could offer clients and customers additional services and value in their real estate transactions we wouldn’t exist.

In addition to the standard marketing outlets, i.e. MLS, internet, print, other Realtors® and agents, your property will be marketed to all EH employees.  100+ people who work, live and play locally that know your house is for sale.  100+ people who have an interest in helping you get your house sold.  Trite yet true..."Your success is our success." 
  2. If appropriate, our marketing reach can extend to EH managed companies and our vast network of contacts.
  3. Whether buying, selling or both, an array of service providers are available to you: Plumbing, electric, drywall, general contractors, home stagers, etc.
  4. If your real estate needs go beyond residential, you have access to all Emory Hill services.  In commercial and industrial real estate for over 25 years, if we don't provide it, we know how to get it.  And get it done for you.
  5. Specialization. Each Realtor® is committed to serving a specific market or type of housing. Our investment of time (and money) spent educating ourselves in our niches, means more useful, timely information for you.  We're not "Keepers of the Information."  We help you make sense of it.
  6. Our most distinctive PODs are the most difficult to explain – our people, our approach and our company culture. Yes, you’ve heard this one before. We have too. Suffice it to say: we’re in this for the long haul. Delaware is a small state - we’re less than Six Degrees of Separation, and word-of-mouth advertising (good and bad) is almost as fast as an internet connection. We’re building EHRRE by letting our clients do the talking for us.
